In his debut solo show, Tamil-Canadian comedian Sunthar V explores the intersection of being Tamil, queer, and the child of refugees. This engaging and thought-provoking comedy show has toured and sold out across Canada, India, the UK, and Europe, and it’s finally time for his first full-scale euro tour. This is an adults only show, family oda varathinga!

The show is mostly in English with some Tamil. It is easy to follow for non-Tamil speakers.

About Sunthar:

Sunthar is a Toronto-born Tamil stand-up comedian currently touring his debut show globally. His work has been featured on BBC, CBC, CTV, The Hindu, and various other publications. In 2024, The Globe and Mail recognized him as one of nine Canadians living boldly and fearlessly.

With a proud Tamil queer identity and the experience of being a child of refugees, Sunthar's comedic storytelling transcends boundaries, resonating with audiences from diverse backgrounds. His ability to deeply connect with people has earned him a loyal following and widespread acclaim worldwide.
